Jury selection for Micheal Jackson's wrongful death suit has begun. The Jackson family has filed for $40 Billion dollars against AEG Live, the company behind Jackson's This Is It comeback tour.
Why $40 billion?
That's the number Mike would have received had he not passed away from a homicidal drug overdose:
Lawyers for Jackson’s mother, Katherine, and his three children are expected to blame AEG Live for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray, a cardiologist who is behind bars on involuntary manslaughter charges after it was determined that he gave Jackson a lethal dose of the surgical anesthetic propofol, which resulted in his death.
The family believes that AEG knew that Micheal's health was in jeopardy and still allowed Dr. Murray to treat the fragile pop star.
It is possible that Jackson's children could be called to testify.
