This has gotten out of hand!
Sooo, remember the reports that Kevin Clash had been accused by a former Sesame Street workshop attendee of an inappropriate relationship. Well, Clash denied, denied, denied, and the young man recanted his statement so we all thought this entire mess was over. Right?
WRONG.
Now, yet another man has come forward (Probably after getting wind that the first accuser was paid off for his recant) to accuse the puppeteer of an inappropriate relationship between the two....when he was 15 years old!
Super wrong.
The details of this story are all jacked up. They include gay chat lines, payments for sex, children!
Just messssyyy. Well, the pressure has caused Mr. Clash to resign from the voice of Elmo:
"Personal matters have diverted attention away from the important work Sesame Street is doing, and I cannot allow it to go on any longer. I am deeply sorry to be leaving and am looking forward to resolving these personal matters privately."SMH. This pretty much speaks for itself. We won't really ever know the entire story. I'm just annoyed that this has to be news. And I'm really annoyed that the driving force behind these accusations appear to be money and fame. Hope its worth it.
